Bamena People Ty-wara Headdress

Description

A pangolin (or scaly anteater) stands on a flat base. Rising from the middle of its back are the neck and head of an antelope. The base has four holes for attaching to a basketry cap to be worn on a person's head. The antelope is covered with animal leather.
